ABOUT KATE GIROUX-PFISTER

Graduate of Northern Illinois University from the nurse practitioner program with a master’s in science and board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in family practice.

I have over 20 years of experience in critical care, trauma nursing, medical care management, and nursing education. I also have more than 12 years experience as a nurse practitioner in immediate care and family practice with over 2 years’ experience in telehealth.

My vision with Health Calls, LLC is to take time with each patient, offering more individualized care and promote health through education and preventative care. I provide telehealth services from my home state of FL as well as, AZ, CO, IL, NJ, NY, UT and WA. I also provide home visits to residents and travelers to my local community (Naples and Marco Island, FL).

My career has provided me the opportunity to serve the under-resourced through medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and a volunteer position with The Neighborhood Clinic in Naples.

WHAT IS TELEHEALTH?

Telehealth, also known as telemedicine, refers to the practice of using telecommunications (iPhone, Computer, iPad) to conduct a consultation; evaluate, diagnose, and care for you using audio and/or video conferencing over the internet.

Our telehealth video visits are conducted via Zoom. You may participate in telemedicine appointments using a personal computer with a webcam or a smart mobile device with a built-in video camera.

New patient visit:

  1. Call or text 305-290-1144, or email 4healthcalls@gmail.com to provide your name, email and reason for your visit.

  2. We will email a link to the patient portal for you to create your personal medical profile.

  3. Please upload a photo ID in your patient profile, hover under the icon in upper right corner>manage> edit>upload photo.

  4. Schedule a New Patient video visit appointment with Kate.

  5. A confirmation email with consent and brief questionnaire will be sent to you to complete prior to your visit.

  6. Please download Zoom prior to the appointment.

Established (returning) Patient

  1. Log in to the patient portal www.charmphr.com.

  2. Select the visit type which best suits your need and schedule an appointment.

  3. You will receive a confirmation email. A separate email will be sent with a request to update the intake questionnaire and to specify the reason for your visit

Video Visits for established patients are best for:

For example a health concern that benefits from a face-to-face evaluation: more extensive skin conditions, swelling of a joint, low back pain etc.
